Snowflake Challenge, Day 1
Jan. 2nd, 2012 09:17 pmHere I am, participating in the Fandom Snowflake Challenge because
speak_me_fair is a terrible influence.
Since The Three Musketeers is my One True Fandom, these will all be about that.
The prompt for Day 1 is to do the self-recs, which is, as
zoi_no_miko put it, "Like making me pick my favorite child!" or in this case, three (or more) of my favorite children. Children, I love you all, you are all equal, but some of you are more equal than others!
1. "Salve Regina" - this was like crossing the Rubicon! It had purple poetry, lavender rage, and hot sex on a prie-dieu with involuntary praying. I mean, c'mon, I rocked it! *cackles*
2. "Noisy-Le-Sec" - this one allowed me to play in the "between" space in the musketeer chronology, which I found really liberating! It was also very satisfying to imagine what such a reunion could potentially be like, how it might go, and who might get punched in the face hardest. I also worked with
watercrescent on this, in a dramaturgical sense, and that was a great experience too!
3. "Honey and Oakwood" - this is one of the two cross-overs with "True Blood" featuring Erik the Sexy Vampire. I think this one really shows off my incredibly bizarre and crack-tastic side. Also it gave Aramis the opportunity to go up against a vampire, and what former/future priest doesn't want to do THAT?
4. BONUS - "The Plural of Us" which I co-authored with
zoi_no_miko. We are brilliantly sick. That is all.
